I am in the group that is a little twitchy about throwing away the money on a machine that is supposed to do all things well. I suppose if it were in front of me, at the price point, it might be worth the crapshoot, but I still get qualms...
My understanding is that the 'names' in welding have been dragging in product from all over the world to fill out their product lines anyway.

Having dug around a couple different places that talk about welding machines, I have seen enough horror stories about welding machine repair bills to be wary of ANY claims that one brand should be viewed as superior to another.
