Using a nokia modem as a secondary router(repeater/extender)

This cannot be done wirelessly i.e. 2 modems needs to be connected via LAN cable.
In this article I&#;m going to refer to first modem that has the fiber connection from isp as modem 1 and another modem that you want to use as a repeater as modem 2.
Steps:
- Login in to modem 2 with admin credentials (not the one mentioned on the back sticker). In general most of the modems have following admin credentials. (Confirmed in modal G-425G-A)
Username: AdminGPON
Password: ALC#FGU
2. Change the IPV4 address to something else other than default 192.168.1.254 as modem 1 also uses the same ip so its better to change the ip address of modem 2 to something else.

3. Also uncheck the DHCP Enable checkbox on modem 2
4. Setup all of the wireless configuration (i.e. ssid, security as per your preference).
This is it now you can use your second modem as a repeater/extender.
