I am familiar with one FSAE team that uses a similar design to yours. In fact, theirs is somewhat more "optimised" in that they use 6816 DGBBs (IIRC), which are less than half the weight of your proposed 7915s or 71915s (i.e., about 160g vs your 350g). In one recent year when the team got the car finished early enough for some genuine testing, the bearings failed TWICE before they even got to comp (again, IIRC).

As I noted before, the distinguishing feature of FSAE cars is that they fall apart a lot. I am sure that if you did a more detailed "benchmarking" of most FSAE wheel-bearing designs, then you would find that, to a large degree, they are very UNreliable.
