The HoldOn kitchen trash bags are the best of the compostable trash bags that I have tried (and I&#;ve tried several)! They tear off easily and evenly (instead of ripping the bag every other time), so you can actually use every bag. They work as intended to contain the kitchen trash for several days (instead of breaking down in two days, or tearing through at the bottom, making a mess in the trash can).

I had one incident where I overloaded the bag with liquid-y things from a fridge clean-out and forgot to take it out before we were gone for over a week, and it did leak a little when I took it out (so that&#;s probably about 10 days total, and heavy weight, with liquids), but as long as you just use them normally for normal kitchen trash (which has included heavy things and liquids - just not leaving them for 10 days - which is gross and should be avoided anyway), they are awesome.
