Well, there is the rubber(viton I believe)piece with the metal ring that goes around it and the spring loaded clamp on it that actually slides down over the valve stem and onto the valve guide. That is the valve seal that I need the part number for.
Now there are two grooves in the valve stem of the valve itself. The first groove is where the keepers sit to hold the valve in place. The SECOND groove had this worn out looking ring in it that snapped when I took the valves out. This little bitty black ring I need the part number for also. Most aftermarket valves don't even have a second groove so most people probably won't know what I'm talking about. GM performance has the stock sized valves with necked down stem with both grooves that I'll be buying so I need the little rings. Maybe the parts guy will know what I'm talking about(not likely). Sometimes I wonder where they find these guys :smile:
